Nestled in the quaint wine country town of Healdsburg just 70 miles north of San Francisco, you'll find our boutique, "The Basement". We opened our doors in January 2006 with a fairly new concept of giving high end boutiques and designers an avenue to get rid of their overstock merchandise. This in turn gives you, the savvy shopper a great deal on designer wear. What woman doesn't want to wear fine clothing and shoes for a great price? That being said, let me tell you a bit about how the store works....

"The Basement" works with over 50 different high end stores and designers located from coast to coast. Beautiful clothing, shoes and accessories are constantly arriving. This allows Lesley Alkire (the owner and manager) to place these items on the floor at 50-70% off the retail price! With Lesley being from the north shore of Oahu, she has things coming in from the Hawaiian Islands as well. In addition, she listens to her customers and responds to what they want to see in the store. Recently, she expanded to include children's clothing and shoes, maternity wear, and now has designer clothing for sizes 14 and up.

Another great area in the 1,300 sq. ft. store is called "The Closet". The clothing and shoes in this area are what Lesley likes to call "gently used". Here you'll find an ever changing collection from top designers such as Prada, Gucci, Bogner, Stuart Weitzman, Issac, Pucci & Michael Kors just to name a few. Come see what the "BUZZ" is all about!
